Cyberbullying: From Bystander to Protector
How to use your digital influence to stop a harassment cycle.
THE DYNAMIC
Cyberbullying thrives on 'The Audience.' If nobody likes or shares the bullying content, the bully loses their power.
HOW TO HELP
1. Don't Like, Don't Share: Even if you think a 'diss track' or 'meme' is funny, sharing it makes you part of the problem.
2. Private Support: Message the person being targeted. A simple 'Hey, I saw that, it's not cool, are you okay?' can prevent long-term trauma.
3. Document and Report: Don't argue with the bully. Take a screenshot, report the post, and encourage the victim to block the user.
